For years, energyfield.com.au was a small Australian site built around a simple claim: it does not matter how old you are, you should still feel full of energy. The founder had spent forty years looking at natural health and twenty years as an energy healer. Out of that came a phrase that still organises this journal — the three keys to health: deep sleep, live water, and food the body can actually absorb.
The old site was a Wix page with a video and a product story. The archive is thin, but the voice is clear. Common-sense science. Breakfast that is more than chips and chocolate. Water treated as a material fact of a human body, not a lifestyle accessory. Deep sleep as the hour in which repair actually happens. And a sentence we have kept in the masthead: it is better to love the food you eat than to eat the food you love.
Energy Field is the successor publication. We are not selling devices. We are not offering treatments. We write long essays for people who want their energy back without being shouted at by a supplement advert. The work sits between complementary-health culture and ordinary Australian life: FIFO rosters, rainwater tanks, humid bedrooms, winter in Tasmania, a lunch eaten over a keyboard.
What we publish
Essays live in five hubs. Deep Sleep Zone, Live Water and Food and Absorption are the original keys. The Human Energy Field takes the founder's other life seriously without turning it into a sales funnel. Everyday Vitality is the remainder: work, family, illness, weather.
How we write
Australian English. Named places. Limits stated in plain language. We distinguish a felt change from a clinical claim. We do not diagnose, and we do not tell anyone to abandon a GP, a sleep clinic or a prescribed medicine. If a piece touches complementary practice, it says so. If the evidence is thin, it says that too.
The desk is independent. Guest essays are welcome under the write-for-us guidelines. Paid mentions, where we ever accept them, carry rel="sponsored". Corrections go through the contact form. The full house rules live on editorial standards.
Who it is for
People who are tired in a way that a weekend cannot fix. People who have already been told to drink more water and sleep more, and want a longer answer. People who grew up around energy healing and want the language treated with respect rather than ridicule or worship. And people who simply like a journal that still believes a sixty-year-old should feel like a person with a day ahead of them.
